I have PressReader installed on both my iPhone and my iPad. Do I have to pay twice for a magazine to read on both or what do I have to do to pay only once?

As I can see on their official website, the only way to acquire magazines is with the help of an account. All the purchases are attached to the account you use. Simply log-in on one device and buy the magazine, and then log-in with the same account on the other device and you should have the possibility to read it there as well. There is no need to buy it twice. Technically, since you purchased the magazine, you have the right to do whatever you want with it.
I have been using PressReader for over a year. Lately, when I access an edition of the newspaper, I am in it for about 10 seconds, then the screen goes black and I am kicked out of the app. When I try to re-access the edition, the same thing happens. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? The app is on an iPad2.

There is nowhere mentioned about this error. In this case, it's considered being a local error encountered in a certain situation or triggered by another application. However, to easily fix this problem re-install the application then try to repeat the procedure of opening and reading.
